WINDOW SEAT A very controversial Badu video shot in Dallas on the St. Patrick's Day (March 17, 2010) in Dallas at the Dealey Plaza, the place where JFK was assassinated in November 1963. The video’s fuzzy, slowed-down cinematography directly references the Zapruder film of that event. Badu walks down Elm Street while stripping her clothes off one piece at a time - until she's fully nude. At the song’s end Erykah’s bare stroll is cut short by a sudden gunshot that appears to kill her instantly. Streaks of blue "blood" then spill from her head as she lays in the street, spelling the word "groupthink." The video was shot guerilla style, in one take and was inspired by the "naked" video made by Matt and Kim. Badu said the video was intended to launch a discussion of "groupthink."
